Welcome!
You've reached the homepage of Carie Steele. I am an Assistant Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Northern Arizona University. I earned my PhD at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaing in 2011. My research interests are in international and comparative political economy, international cooperation, development and foreign aid. Much of my research examines international cooperation and coordination for the creation and distribution of public goods --- especially in the areas of health and the environment. In addition to large-N statistical analyses, I have also conducted field work in Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, and Switzerland. I have taught a wide range of classes that fall into the international relations, comparative politics, and public policy subfields. |
